Body Positivism (2015 - 2016) is a series of illustrations that represent bodies that have been policed and regulated for not fitting incongruous beauty standards set by modern society. It is meant to encourage size acceptance and help dismantle prejudice body images. Bright color palettes represent the bodies belonging to Women of color while the sexy—sultry stances exhibit the lack of apathy toward society's opinion on what is acceptable and what is not. Although Body Positivism encourages size acceptance, it also encourages a healthy and active lifestyle.
